Yes, you are kind and respectful to others. Yes, you care about their feeling. Yes, you try to make them happy with your efforts. There is nothing bad in it. . But what if your this habit becomes obsession. And that destroys your own self-esteem and mental health. Starting from frustration, to feeling helpless in expressing on thoughts and opinion. It all happens when you ignore your own happiness for people. Be kind always to people but not at cost of your own self-esteem. Set boundaries and stick to them, that's a fair deal. Moreover, you don't need to prove your worthiness to every person. We can't satisfy all of them. So it's good to set the boundaries and never drop the head.

Happiness is within you !


Imagine yourself watching a funny video. The video becomes funny only if you laughs and enjoy it. What if you didn't do so? You had a heartbreak because of which you didn't laugh. That means, our happiness comes from within us. External events might cause it to manifest, but the real source of happiness comes from within you.Happiness often seems to be the result of external factors, but actually, it starts and comes out into the open from inside us.


There is inner happiness within everyone, but it is covered by layers of negative thoughts, fears, worries and anxieties. Inner happiness is an inseparable part of our inner being, of our essence, but we often allow various factors to hide it.

Happiness vs Pleasure

It is a hot summer day, and you feel thirsty. A friend offers you a refreshing cold glass of lemonade. After having the lemonade, what you feels is simply pleasure, which lasts for few moments. At the same time, you may feel happiness for your friend's concern for offering you a lemonade.

"Pleasure is perceived through the five senses, while happiness is independent of the five senses." 

When you are happy, minor unpleasant events might do not disturb you, but when you are unhappy, you feel as if everything is against you.

Real happiness is a feeling of satisfaction, exhilaration, elation and joy, which wells from within. You experience it when a problem has been solved, when a goal has been achieved, and when you are feeling good. 


You don't have to chase happiness. The key to your happiness is there within you. Its okay if things went wrong, nobody acknowledged you for your achievement; you appreciate yourself and keep smiling from the bottom of your heart. Don't let that wide curve on your face fade because of someone else. There will be always at least one thing that gives us happiness. Try to find happiness in every single piece of moment, food we eat, dress we wear, people we talk and so on!
