Yes, you are kind and respectful to others. Yes, you care about their feeling. Yes, you try to make them happy with your efforts. There is nothing bad in it. . But what if your this habit becomes obsession. And that destroys your own self-esteem and mental health. Starting from frustration, to feeling helpless in expressing on thoughts and opinion. It all happens when you ignore your own happiness for people. Be kind always to people but not at cost of your own self-esteem. Set boundaries and stick to them, that's a fair deal. Moreover, you don't need to prove your worthiness to every person. We can't satisfy all of them. So it's good to set the boundaries and never drop the head.

Surpriseeeeeeeeee

Do you love surprises? I just love to surprise others and being surprised.  Surprises add spark to your relationship and communicate how much you care. It adds even more nourishment to your relationships. It’s how you get peoples’ attention and delight them so you get them curious and excited about what you have to offer.

I would like to share with you an experience from my real life.

One of my best friend’s birthday was about to strike. I had no idea about what to gift him but I had to do something unusual.  I came across online shopping sites, searching for wrist watches, key chains etc etc…I wasn’t satisfied with any of those. After so many reverberating thoughts, I decided to do some handcrafts. I never utilized my time for handcrafts till then. I thought it was not my cup of tea.  I came across so many you tube videos and finally I decided to make a scrapbook. At first, it was so tough to take measurements, then to cut the papers, designing (basically due to laziness😜)…………… I had to spend a lot of time on that. It took around 4-5 days to make it to the final face.


It was an evening, supposed to surprise him. I asked him to close his eyes and placed my scrapbook right in front of him. Next moment, I could see his eyes dilating with astonishment. That wide curve on his face widened even more with happiness. He unboxed the envelope and each whorl one by one. I could feel that eagerness in his heart to see what are all written within. Slowly his smile began to fade. I became nervous whether something went wrong. His eyes filled with tears. Tears of joy are words from heart that can’t be spoken. I felt so high at that moment as I could be the reason for someone’s tears of joy. Something which I crafted out of few paper pieces could bring sunshine on someone’s life. I will never forget those moments as they are like rare gem stones to be kept along with, always.

What I want to share is that, surprising is not just a material thing. It adds beauty to your moments and soul to your relationships. It could be a card or food or even a text message has the power to surprise our dear ones.  The unexpected moments are always sweeter. That feeling of being surprised and surprising someone is priceless and beyond words. If you get a chance to surprise someone, just do it. You won’t lose anything but you may gain a lot love, happiness and valuable memories.

Now-a-days we depend more on social medias for constantly maintaining a rapport with our dear ones. As time passes, some unpleasant things may happen. Gradually, everything turns upside down.  It starts with late replies, then ignored messages. The distance becomes greater and the talking becomes less frequent. Every time your phone lights up, you hope it's them or at least, you wish it was them. If not checking up on you, just saying anything at all. Because yesterday you asked them how they were, and day before yesterday you asked them how they were, and the day before that too. How much more you can do right?
